Music is a very important part of life in Africa, with its influence speading worldwide. It is often used in rites and ceromnies, performed by specialist drummers and court musicians.
Clothing is an important part of tradition in Africa. The fabric and prints used often indicates the different tribes throughout the continent and is a reflection of the status of individuals or groups within each community. The majority of African clothes are vibrant and colourful.
